Oppo Rancisis is a member of Section I: Jedi. He is not one of the original members of his section.

Rancisis is a Master in the Jedi Order. He was a former member of the Jedi High Council, but stepped down to allow other Jedi to have the chance to govern the Order. He is the secretary of the Skilled Swordsman, though he was considered for a position in the Master Swordsman. His primary weapon is a green-bladed lightsaber. He was trained by Jedi Master Yaddle. He is royalty, and heir to the throne on his home world, Thisspias. Rancisis is the mentor to the Greek demigod Charles Beckendorf in the area of lightsaber combat.

Rancisis is the representative of his species, the Thisspiasians, in the 2nd Foreign Species Council. He is also a recent addition to the Tactics Council due to his tactical genius.
Army[]
Rancisis was formerly a Chief Colonel in the Jedi Army, but is currently serving as a Lieutenant. Rancisis works directly under Captain Shaak Ti, co-works with Lieutenant Eeth Koth, and is the direct commanding officer of Colonels Fy-Tor-Ana and Kenth Hamner.
